Some projects are billed. Some are owed. MentorShipped is the second kind — an investment in today's youth.
MentorShipped is an inclusive, equal-opportunity training program in Orange County that connects ambitious high school students with real-world internships, mentors who've been there, and practical skills that open doors — from Shopify e-commerce to social media marketing and account management. BambooDev designed and built the site pro bono, and our CEO Justin Williams serves on the board. This one is personal: giving back to our community, and investing in a greater future.
The approach
No corporate buzzwords — that's MentorShipped's promise to its students, so it became the design brief too. One fast page, type set big and confident, a single red accent, and photography of real workshops instead of stock handshakes. Everything points to the two conversations that matter: a student raising their hand, or an employer opening a door.

Students — The cohort
A focused single-page site that does a nonprofit's whole job: tell the story, show the students, prove the momentum, start the conversation. The showcase puts the cohort front and center — the students are the product, and they know it. A news desk collects coverage from the program's orbit, and the contact section splits cleanly between the two audiences: ambitious students and hiring partners.

The outcome
We measure most projects in conversions. This one gets measured in first jobs, first portfolios, and first professional references. MentorShipped now has a home worthy of the students it serves — and BambooDev has a standing commitment in its own backyard. Pro bono, full craft.
