What does the web presence of San Francisco's premier builder look like? Mostly, it looks like the homes themselves.

The Toboni Group builds high-end custom homes and estates across the Bay Area — Pacific Heights, Sea Cliff, Hillsborough, Tiburon — with a commitment to quality above all else. For more than ten years, BambooDev has been their digital partner, and the brief has never changed: the stunning photography is the narrative. Our job is to design a site so quiet, so precisely built, that nothing stands between the visitor and the work.

The insight

Luxury is restraint. The Toboni Group's clients don't choose a builder because of clever copy or busy interfaces — they choose one because of a curved oak staircase, a book-matched marble island, a rooftop framed against the Golden Gate. So the design system gets out of the way: full-bleed photography, a single quiet typeface, generous silence between projects. Every decision on the site is measured against one question — does this serve the photograph, or compete with it?

A photography-first brand site built on SvelteKit and Tailwind, prerendered to static pages so every image arrives instantly. The homepage is nothing but the work: a full-bleed slideshow, a logo, a menu. The portfolio is an edge-to-edge grid spanning twenty-five projects from Sonoma County to Hillsborough, each opening into its own gallery. And beneath the surface, the unglamorous craft that earns the brand its search results: structured data, local SEO architecture, and image optimization tuned so that estate-grade photography still loads like a text page.
